A few prayer requests...

A cousin of mine- Troy- just found out he has very rapid progressing cancer. It's all over his body, and he's losing his sight. My mom got a call from her sister (his mom) on Sunday and they didn't know what was going on with him, but yesterday my mom found out it's cancer. He has lesions everywhere and he's in a lot of pain...He's in the Spokane, WA area and 2 specialists from Seattle have flown in to treat him, but it's progressing so fast. He's in his mid-30s, and has 3 kids, and his family just bought a house, so he's worried about his wife and kids. He's been sick in the past (not with cancer) and started feeling bad about 2 months ago, but didn't say anything because he just wanted things to be okay for a while. I don't think his family has great insurance either. He's a really good, nice guy who has always worked so hard for everything. Please pray for him, his doctors, his family. My aunt was just in Hawaii with us a few weeks ago, and I hadn't seen her in many years, and she's having a hard time right now...

Also, a friend's mom is in the final stages of Lou Gehrig's disease. She was diagnosed this past Spring, and again, it has progressed quickly. She wasn't expected to make it through the night last Thursday, and 2 of her kids (including my friend) were trying to get back up to Alaska to be with her, but they had cancelled flights because of the weather. Thankfully, my friend did make it up, and her mom is still here, but it's been hard for the family to see their mom/wife in so much pain. Hospice is at their house, so please pray for them all...
