So yesterday we all headed out to Girdwood for a friend's wedding. Aren't these kids cute? The wedding was outside, and thankfully, it didn't rain! We actually had a little bit of sun yesterday, after the weeks and weeks of rain. The wedding was beautiful, and our kids did great during the ceremony. The highlight for them was that Nana and Papa rented a room at the resort for the night, so we left the reception after a few hours and the kids got to go swimming in the pool. They swam for over 2 hours, and Max shockingly loved swimming this time. He's hated it until now, which is a little strange since he loves baths/showers. Unfortunately, we left the camera in the hotel room, so there are no pictures of him in the water.
My mom and I made the cake for the wedding--we've made a few cakes for various friends' weddings--and here's a great picture of Max LICKING powdered sugar off the floor at Nana's house. Very disgusting. Very funny. Leia was down there too; they were actually fighting over who got more space, but she was done before we got a picture.
